HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE SUMMIT SPORTSMAN DRAG RACING SERIES OR OBTAIN A WDRA LICENSE

1. The WDRA online licensing system can be used and a copy of any required documents can be uploaded. Payment is done via a secured site. Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover credit cards are accepted

2. A form can be printed from the WDRA website and mailed in with a copy of any required documents and payment.

3. A form can be printed from the WDRA website and a scanned copy of the license form and any required documents and payment can be e-mailed to Donna Harper at membership@racewdra.com.

MEMBERSHIP & LICENSE: (NEW WITH CURRENT LICENSE)

1. If your home track changes sanctions to WDRA for 2024 and you purchased another sanction’s license in 2023, you would be joining WDRA as a NEW member. When you join as a new member and you have time left on your existing license, WDRA will add the number of months left on your current license to your new WDRA license at no charge. That way you don’t lose any value of a license that has not yet expired when you join WDRA.

2. WDRA will return to you a WDRA license identical in license level and with extra months of membership added to it.

3. The cost is $100 ($80 for Juniors) and the Sportsman Drag Racing Championship registration and car number is included as is a printed rulebook. The cost for a general membership and license without SDRS registration is only $50 and includes a printed rulebook.

4. Once registered for a year or more, extra months can be added to your license on a per month basis of $10 per month to customize the expiration date to the month of your choice so you never have to worry about your SSDRS registration expiring before your season ends.

MEMBERSHIP & LICENSE: (NEW WITH LICENSE THAT EXPIRED IN THE LAST 24 MONTHS)

1. If your license expired during the last 24 months, you can use it to join WDRA as a new member and receive the same license level as your expired license without having to make licensing runs again.

2. The cost is $100 and the Sportsman Drag Racing Championship registration and car number is included as is a printed rulebook. The cost for a general membership and license without SDRS registration is only $50 and includes a printed rulebook.

MEMBERSHIP & LICENSE: (NEW WITH NO LICENSE OR EXPIRED LONGER THAN 24 MONTHS):

If you have never had a license or your license is more than 24 months past expiration, you can easily join WDRA as a new member.

CAR NUMBER:

As racers ourselves we understand the need to maintain existing car numbers. We view your car number like your cell phone number….when you change carriers you bring your number with you. Racers will request their existing car number during the transfer or new registration process. There may be instances where different racers at different tracks may have the same car number. However, we can not issue the same number to two different drivers at the same track and in the same class.  Car numbers are only issued to Summit Sportsman Drag Racing Series registrations.  General licenses are not issued a car number.
